FAQs
What conditions does Fullington Physical Therapy treat?
We treat a variety of conditions including sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, arthritis, low back pain and sciatica, hip, shoulder, and knee pain & age-related issues among others.
Do I need a physician's referral to schedule an appointment?
You do not need a referral from a physician to start treatment at Fullington Physical Therapy! If your condition is deemed out of a physical therapist's scope of practice, we will recommend seeking alternative consultation with the appropriate health care provider. We will coordinate with your primary care provider when applicable.
What should I expect during my first visit to Fullington Physical Therapy?
During your initial consultation, you will undergo a comprehensive assessment that includes a discussion of your medical history, current pain or injury, and your recovery goals. Based on this, a customized treatment plan will be created to suit your specific needs.
To get the most out of your telehealth session, make sure you’re in a quiet, well-lit space where you can move comfortably. Have a stable internet connection and any equipment your therapist may have recommended (such as resistance bands, a foam roller, etc.) ready.
Your initial evaluation is free of charge, to ensure that you are a good candidate for benefitting from Telehealth physical therapy. Subsequent Telehealth sessions cost $59 per session.
Do you accept insurance?
We are an out-of-network provider. This means we will submit a claim to your insurance company (including Medicare and all commercial insurances) within 24 hours of each visit. Depending on your plan, you may be able to receive partial to full reimbursement for our services. Payment of services is due immediately after each treatment session.
How long does each treatment session last?
Each treatment session typically lasts between 30 to 45 minutes, depending on your specific needs and treatment plan.
Does it matter where I live to receive treatment?
Currently, we accept patients who reside in the states of: Colorado, Missouri, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.
Yes! Telehealth physical therapy is very effective for a wide range of conditions. We will guide you through exercises and stretches, observe your movements, and provide adjustments remotely. If hands-on treatment is required, we’ll help you transition to in-person care if needed.
